Michael J. Supinka brings
over twenty years of experience to his practice in Western Pennsylvania.
He is a graduate of Dickinson College (B.A. 1980) and of the
University of Pittsburgh School of Law (1983).
In his years of practice Michael Supinka has handled numerous real
estate transactions, both residential and commercial in a wide variety
of real estate and construction projects, including the purchase and
sale of property, 1031 tax deferred exchanges, leases, tenant disputes,
and mortgage and construction financing.
Michael’s corporate experience includes his representation of numerous
corporations and partnerships in both organizational and litigation
matters. He has experience
in municipal law, as he represents several municipal authorities and
municipalities.
In the course of his general practice Michael represents individual
clients in the areas of Family Law, including in matters of Divorce,
Custody and Spousal and Child Support.
Michael has wide experience in representing clients with respect to
Estate Planning and Administration, including the preparation of Wills,
Trusts, and Powers of Attorney and in the preparation of Inheritance Tax
Returns. He
advises individuals in the development and implementation of strategies
that help them achieve their estate planning, business succession and
charitable goals. He represents executors, trustees and families in the
administration and taxation of estates and trusts.
Michael believes it important to give back to his community and has
served as President of the Center for Family Life, the Indiana Arts
Council, the Foundation for IUP and the Indiana County Endowment.
Michael Supinka is a member of both the Indiana County Bar Association
and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and in West Virginia.
